Understandably people are picky about their paper. But it does bum others out (see what I did there) when they realize the amount of trees, water, plastic and transportation it costs to produce toilet paper. Think about all the trees that need cutting down in order for companies to produce their product. Then wrap it in good old fashioned plastic and ship it off to the masses. The plastic will be torn off anyways and thrown away within minutes.
I tend not to think about how many customers in a store, buy toilet paper this way. But your in luck! There are some pretty cool options out there gearing towards the more eco friendly route. The amount of toilet paper saved, the less frequent trips to the store and the money spent on the actual paper.
People from other countries swear by bidets and actually look down on the toilet paper itself. These device’s are coming back in the game and maybe the pandemic was partly to blame given the toilet paper shortages around the country. However I’ll take it as a positive. Reusable Cloth
If your single or living with just your partner, maybe even a single parent this is a money saving, earth loving option. I know more people who are single or who live with their child than huge families going this route. But this is an amazing route.
Never step foot in the store again for the expensive plastic wrapped toilet paper. Just place the cloths in a reusable bucket or bag and pop them solo on the wash, small load hot. Instead of bleach just add more of the natural soap/ detergent you would normally use. Think about it. How much money do you spend on toilet paper, time, tax and gas?
More and more people are trying to cut corners when it comes to money. Cutting out extra and unnecessary expenses. This for you could actually be one of them. You can pick out the designs, colors and textures of the cloth you want. Buying in local thrift stores or yard sales can get you an even more money saving, amazing deal.
