Super important for me to find & keep using great products that are sustainable and comfortable, so I can recommend to everyone! By the way all reviews are my own honest opinions, no products are ads and the sites will be found after each review, enjoy!

I couldn’t justify buying silicone for my little ones since anything able to rip or get lost was a reality in school. Also the thought of having an extra chore to clean out the silicone bags every single day on top of everything else was daunting . I decided to temporally go with recycled paper lunch bags. They worked okay for the most part, just making sure to only put dry items inside. However I needed something a bit more sturdier, something that would hold grease from sandwich’s better. Plastic was clearly not an option.

A year ago I saw these on a social media ad and dismissed it. I really wanted to support a sustainable company so I quickly remembered the style and searched the product online. Once I purchased the bags from the store and opened it I sort of had doubts how eco friendly they were since the company states to not be made with wax but the bag itself felt super waxy.

I researched more and found out the material is really made from sustainably forest made paper. These bags are awesome and big enough to hold their lunch’s and snacks, they do come in two different sizes. Greases from the sandwich’s don’t transfer horrible onto the outer bag and they are able to keep sturdy throughout the day. The snack bags itself comes with a small, convenient sealable sticker on the top. The sticker is also compostable which is amazing. They also give 1% back to the environment. The designs are adorable but I just wish they had more of them, honestly I will continue to buy these as the school year progresses and am excited to try their actually reusable snack bags.

At first I was hesitant to purchase these sheets. They are not cheap and to be honest anyone who has really little kids or young pets are probably going to double guess their decision to buy expensive bed sheets. But what the company stands for and the rave review’s they get, solidified my decision to purchase them.

I actually bought the Eucalyptus bed sheets a year ago as a gift for my friend. Unfortunately the color I ordered which was blue came to look more like purple in the light. I contacted the company to see if I could do an exchange for a different color. The customer service was great, they had explained to me in order to break from using to much resources and materials I could donate the sheets I ordered to a local charity, they would refund me in full with shown proof of donation and then I could reorder the sheets in a different color for my friend. I thought that was amazing and went ahead to donate to receive a refund which I did. In general not many companies would go that route.

After about a year I had decided to order the duvet cover to go with the cloud comforter I ordered. I ordered the cover in dark blue and prayed to see if this would be the color I would receive in the package. When the package came I was so impressed, not only was the color vivid and beautiful, exactly the blue I wanted but the material felt akin to silk. The cover truly is so soft and amazing, I would recommend these sheets to ANYONE! Not only is it an amazing sustainable company but all their materials are eco friendly. I cannot say enough great things about Buffy, I will be purchasing more products from them and sharing my reviews very soon!

3. Mother Earth Hemp + Cotton Rounds

ME Mother Earth Reusable Hemp Cotton Rounds

Description: Swap to reusable hemp cotton rounds. Designed to last for years of use, you’ll never have to use throwaway cotton rounds or makeup remover wipes again! These are gentle enough to be used on all skin types, even sensitive skin, dry skin and delicate baby skin. Use our super gentle wipes on their own, with makeup remover, or with your favorite facial products. 100% natural pads are gentle enough to be used on all skin types, even sensitive skin, dry skin and delicate baby skin. We chose hemp cotton because for one acre of land, hemp can produce 1,500 pounds of fiber – 3x the amount of cotton. Hemp can also reduce soil pollution, uses drastically less water than cotton, is antimicrobial and durable, and one of the strongest natural fibers. Our rounds are 70% hemp and 30% cotton.  *Description from ME website*

These reusable hemp + cotton rounds are so soft, fluffy and easy to use I really love them! In the past I have been given reusable flannel ones as a gift. I wasn’t a really big fan of them, the material, for me, was not comfortable. But these are so well made, very large and so smooth to glide on my skin. The mix of hemp means it uses much less water than a conventional all cotton round. On top of the compostable packaging you receive that holds the items, the rounds come in a small natural mesh bag. This comes so handy when washing the rounds in the laundry. Ill be purchasing another set to gift to friends.

Clearly toilet paper is a staple for everyday, everywhere and almost everyone, if your well into the low waste lifestyle you probably have heard of this brand before. If not let me introduce you. WGAC toilet paper is as stated 100% recycled toilet paper, they also offer a bamboo version. This brand not only offers a great eco friendly option but they deliver to your door! It is subscription based, and can even modify delivery to your liking. Such as every 3 weeks, 13 weeks or 3 months. When they deliver is really up to you which is extremely convenient.

The best part is every step from packaging to actual products is sustainable. No plastic anywhere and everything can be composted. To top it off they donate a large amount to charity, building toilets around poverty stricken countries. The company doesn’t limit themselves to just toilet paper, sustainably made paper towels, reusable towels and tissues are also offered. For the price and the amount given I think its a great value and product. Toilet paper that builds toilets | Who Gives A Crap USA
